I've previously owned Reef flip flops, Rainbow sandals, Adidas slips, Teva sandals, crocs, and even high-end Mephisto sandals. I've put each one through all kinds of environments from lounging at the beach to hiking up coastal trails. IMHO, none of them compare to the feel and quality of the Ohana. I can't emphasize enough the foot, ankle, and arch support these sandals have. I've got bad ankles from playing tons of basketball, and I've never felt instead or tired when I wear my Ohanas.
The fit and finish of the product is also something to talk about. Even running in my sandals, I've never felt my toes creep over the front edge of the sandals and even for a person with slightly wider feet, my foot always feels completely secure and never peeks over the sides or edges.
What's even better is the customer support and warranty that comes with the Ohana. I had a small quality issue with my last pair of Ohana's that I purchased, and it was the first time reaching out to Olukai's customer support. The customer support team true to their origins treats you with respect and warmness that I've found comes from all folks who consider themselves Hawaiian. They were able to help me solve my issue without the normal pull and gnashing of teeth that I've had with other customer service teams.”
