“These are great. It takes some time to break in (strap can cause some redness between the big toe and the next toe), but I expect this with leather. After the break-in period, I’m expecting them to eventually be very comfortable. The quality is excellent and, because they’re leather, worth the price. I’m expecting to be wearing these for years. These Mea Ola’s are a replacement for previous long time owned Olukai Ohana’s that were chewed by a dog.”
“I absolutely loved the quality and coloring of these. They were a rich brown and the stitching was top-notch. Personally though, the fit and comfort were not as nice as the looks. They were rigid and leather was very tough. They hurt my feet and I ended up returning them. The leather portion that wedges between the toes was also not comfortable. There wasn't adequate flexing when I was walking and this was painful.”
