“I love these sandals! The color of the leather ids beautiful and the feel amazing. My only issue is the size seems a tad large, as my prior sandals in the same size all fit more snug.”
“Not worth the price. They were beautiful when they arrived. The pattern is printed on the sole (womans is stitched) and wore off almost immediately. The upper got wet and stretched out to the point that they are super loose now. Not recommended for wet applications. Still wearable, but not worth the almost $200 I paid for them.”
“My Mea Ola sandals are nice looking and fairly comfortable and supportive. I didnt find that I needed much if any breakin time before wearing for long periods of time. The straps didnt fit me as well as I would have liked and there was plenty of room for my feet to casually kick them off. All of the flip flop style footwear that I have the straps fit closer over the top of my feet and secure the sandal much better. I have a high instep and/or arch and like I said there was still plenty of room between my feet and the two straps. So, I was slightly disappointed especially considering the price which I paid for them. I probably wont wear them as much as some others that I have due to the looseness of the top straps. If you fat wide feet they would probably fit properly. I purchased the 9 medium based on the recommended Olukai sizing chart. I'm a 8 1/2 medium so depending on the brand I usually have to go up or down a size. I do have another pair of non- leather Olukai flip flop sandals in size 9 and they fit better. I've only had the Mea Ola about a month so I cant really comment on age related properties. The few times I've worn them, friends and/or family have not commented on their appearance like some reviewers noted. If you want to spend the cash I say, give them a try. Maybe my loose fitting pair are an exception.”
