“Not sure if it's the materials or how they were made, but i have only worn these ONE time, and looking at them while I was at the beach, they looked like they'd been worn daily for months.
I examined them only because I was sort of shocked to see that there were clear scuff marks on the footbed outlining my foot and toes from walking across the sand one time. Where the top material joins the "middle" material on the front of the sandal is scuffed and worn- once again, this was my first time wearing them- and they look like I've been wearing them daily for the entire summer already.
I guess I don't mind, but for the price paid I expect that they'd stay looking nice for longer, instead of looking the way my Reefs look from hard wear last year. The Reefs were a little less expensive I think and they didn't start looking beat until the end of the season, after almost daily wear.
I didn't really examine them when they arrived in the mail, just tried them on to see if they fit. I guess it's possible I got a pair that had been returned by someone else, otherwise I can't recommend them and certainly will not purchase again.”
