“Super comfortable with a wide, roomy toe box. The insole is very comfortable and wraps around the heel for more support than popular Australian slippers. I’ll be using these as go-tos for around the house.
My only point of concern is the insole felt a bit flat after a month or so. I added another 3rd party custom insole on top of the existing one and it worked out; it’s a bit thick but the leather loosened up. Overall I’m happy but it’s be nice if Olukai sold replacement insoles separately.”
“I’d give these new slippers a 5, but the insole retains too much foot odor if worn too frequently, so maybe MJ should consider a different insole that has foot odor deterrent. I bought two pair and wash the insoles weekly and this seems to minimize daily odor issue. I have four styles of Closed toe MJ footwear, and this issue is prevalent in three of your designs”
We recommend removing the insoles and hand washing them with cold water and a mild soap that is compatible with wool. Once the insoles are removed you are welcome to carefully hand wash the inner wool lining with cold water and a mild soap. These slippers should not be submerged in water. After washing you may want to dry the inside with a soft cloth or paper towel. We recommend air drying, after hand washing.
