“I have LOVED all the previous footwear I've had from OluKai. Bought these online without trying on. Big mistake. Very odd feel on soles - like the sides are cramping up only on bottom of my feet. I wear insoles, and with them, it is not as noticeable, but I've never felt that type of discomfort from *any* shoes before. My plan was to mainly use these as boat-shoes, but with the insoles, this is much less reasonable (slippery) and without insoles, the shoe vertically isn't tight enough (again, a problem I've never had before).
And - as odd as this is, it is real - the shoes carry stink like I've never seen (smelled? experienced?) before. Before buying, I read a review that said the same thing and thought "Well, that's weird, but probably not the shoe's fault..." - Lo and behold, I wore the shoe 3 times (2x with socks, once without) and the odor was noticeable from yards away. Again, I've NEVER had an issue with this before, and my other shoes (that I wear the same way) don't have this problem.
Still a big fan of OluKai slipahs - the best I've ever had by far - but wish I had tried these before buying. With insoles I'll make them work and they'll be OK, but not something I would recommend without warning.”
“Most comfortable shoesThis company is phenomenal. I have several of their products; however, once I bought a pair of their shoes on vacation and unfortunately had problems with in the first 30 days. I canceled his customer service department is excellent and beyond reproach and takes the concerns of their clientele extremely seriously. It is refreshing to see such a company of character.”
