“The heel piece you fold down to make a sandal is hard on the underside of the heel, so, I'll not be able to use them as sandals. As a shoe they are very comfortable, although they don't exactly slip on and off. I thought I was going to need a shoe horn, but after a week or so they loosened up. I gave the shoe a four since I was a little disappointed in them.”
“Huge fan of the shoes. Love the style, color, material and how they feel. My only thing is the fold down heel. I know it’s their thing but it is not easy to keep the shoe on and the extra material is not comfortable. I would prefer a more solid heel.”
“I've been looking for some "mature" athletic shoes that look good with slacks, jeans, shorts or joggers. The Nohea Moku more than fits the bill. I've tried other shoes that claim to double as slip-ons or have some gimmick that makes them easier to put on, but they all pale in comparison to the Nohea Moku. In fact I sent all the others back.
This is my third pair of footwear from OluKai and as a guy who wears a size 15, this shoe makes me feel good wearing it. With father's day and a birthday on the horizon I anticipate at least 1 more pair of Nohea Mokus.
