“I ordered a pair of these a few days ago for myself (36 yr old male) and I’ve got to tell you that these are far and away the most comfortable flip flops I have ever some and I literally just pulled them out of the box. M used to Rainbows and Reefs and the dreaded break in period. These I put on straight out of the box and I knew at that moment that I would never buy another brand in my life!
If you’re even thinking about buying these, just go ahead and do it! I’m ordering another pair in a different color and style directly after writing this review.

“OluKai are about the highest quality slippers out there and my Kipis are both super comfortable and sturdy enough for all day wear. This includes beach and water without a hitch.
If you have flatter or wide feet you should try them before you buy though. I always liked their style but avoided them because the arch felt too high for me while trying them on, while my wife has had a ton (over 10 pairs?). After going through many other brands that didn't hold up, I finally picked these up understanding that they would break in slowly with wear. The arch ended up not being a comfort issue, but the side straps come out from the top of the slipper and not the side like most of the leather styles like the Mea Olas. My issue was that my arch rested on the inside strap because my feet are wider and flatter. It took a couple of days of vacation walking before they really felt good to me, and when I get another pair I would wear for a half a day then switch to break them in.
After breaking in though they're my favorites, and I use them for everything. They can go from sand and sea to shopping to gardening and rinsed clean. Love them!”
“Sandals were very comfortable but didn’t last long. Piece that fits between the toes tire away from the sole, rendering sandal useless. This happened within the first year. Returned them and the store replaced them at no cost. Happened again a bit after a year. Did not get a return. For $80 plus dollars, should last longer. So I now hesitate to reorder.”
