“I’m not a fan of this boot. The materials seem very cheap and plasticy. My last pair( different model) seemed much better and more comfortable. These make noise when you walk on the harder sole, are shiny and cheap looking and are staining my socks pretty badly rust color.”
“Really a nice company and a well made shoe with exceptional leather, particularly for the cost. I have had many over the ankle leather shoes over the years but I literally could not complete my evening out with friends on the first wear of these because the tongue was so painful at the top of my foot. Maybe just me and worth a try for folks based on my opening remarks. But a first ever painful experience must justify one star.”
“Love these leather shoes. Great fit, great style, and can be dressed up or down. I wear mine to work almost every day. I have owned mine for almost a year and the leather is starting to really break in and look more rugged (which i like more than stiff, uncomfortable leather).
Two concerns:
1. one of my laces started fraying because of some fluke where I caught it on a door. Sadly, they no longer offer replacement laces.
2. The outsole is pretty soft. No issues with them yet, but since I am generally hard on shoes I don't expect the outsole to handle everyday use longer than the next year. For the price you may want shoes that last longer than 2-3 years.”
