“These look better in the pictures than they actually are. The leather is so smooth it looks a bit plastic-y, and it is rather thin. There is no real arch support, and the fit around the ankle is not snug. Rather, the leather of the opening is loose fitting and gapes open even when the shoe isn't flexed. I have other Olukai shoes, and they have a snugger fit around the ankle, so these characteristics account for the 3-star rating. They are nice looking at a glance, but fall short as a shoe.”
