“My feet are not typically smelly but after a couple days of wearing my new ʻĀlapa Līs on a trip to Europe I couldn’t even stand it. They wash well and dry quickly so I’m at least able to do that now that I’m home but while we were traveling it wasn’t quite that simple. Luckily I had brought another pair to wear while these dried. Wore with socks the entire time too, so that wasn’t the issue. Otherwise these look great and are super comfortable. Just wish I hadn’t paid $100 for the smelliest shoes I’ve ever owned.”
“m a big time runner. so far these shoes have held up and are great. however. the removable back......... lets talk about it. the should would by far 100%be one of the best running shoes i have ever purchased had it not been for this feature. this feature is purely cosmetic and not practical. with out the back, the shoe looks like a weird slipper flip flop cross over that shouldn't exists and doesn't exist for that exact reason. also with this removable back you face the chance of compromising that mechanism and getting a flat tire at your turn around point for your run... could be 1 mile.. could be 13 miles away from your start. either way it wont be a walk i want to make without the back of my shoes....”
“I just got these in grey about 10 days ago, and I've already ordered my 2nd pair in black. I have to argue these may be the best shoe ever made... They are so incredibly comfortable to wear, it's like walking on clouds. I love the way they hug your feet with the perfect amount of tension in the right areas. Love the design and materials so much. I've always loved Olukai's wider toe box design, and while these are slightly more narrow than I'd prefer, I'm still giving these 5 stars. I'll admit it! I'm secretly just hoping the designers are reading these comments, so they can offer more color options. :) I'd even wear these to more formal events if they had a few options with a charcoal or black soles. That said, I still have a few more options to go, and I'm kind of crazy when I fall in love with something. Already clearing out some spots in my closet. Thanks to everyone at Olukai... I will be a little happier on the days I wear these, and that is a great thing!”
