“Got these at the annual REI Anniversary sale with my discount coupon. These slip on quite easily but aren't loose (how do they do that?) I got a size 12, but usually wear 11 1/2. I have a wider foot, but again, these fit nice and snug. I walked around for a few miles (city streets) with absolutely no problems. The upper edge of the heel may dig in to you achilles heel, but socks may help; also wearing the shoes in may help.”
