“Though they went on great, with comfortable soles, after a couple hours, the back of my Achilles’ tendon became quite sore from tightness at the bottom of the band at the top of the shoe rubbing on it or pressing back against it. This is only on the right shoe, but is consistent with subsequent wearing and irritating.”
“I love the insoles of the boots because I have high arches. They are great except the heel in the left boot rubbed my heel raw. I had to stop wearing them because of this. The boots are the same size and the right boot didn't do it.”

“This fit the bill for a weather proof travel, city boot. Traveling often in my job takes me to different climates. These boots can do everything but the treadmill in the hotel gym. Including the travel itself and the senior management presentation you are there for. They could do the gym in a pinch, but why not walk outside.
Size is 1/2 small and there is a high arch. Glad to know this before I purchased. The fit intel on the web site is spot on. There is some break in time; about 10 miles of pavement work for me. The sole is also appears to be durable than I expected.
The only no no would be for serious rock/gravel work due to the partial leather sole and no true heal. I don't often do this during business travel. It is also apparent that once worn out, you get new ones as the soles can't be replaced”
