I've read other reviews that say the tongue is too stiff or sharp-edged. Simple solution: flex and bend the tongue the first few times you put them on - they'll soften up and bend to fit your feet pretty quickly.”

As another reviewer noted, the tongue could be a little longer and with some sort of rounded, buffered edge. It is stiff and sharp and digs into the tendon where my foot and ankle join. Also, these shoes are not suitable for all-day comfort and long walks. Better cushioning at the heel would help a lot. As it is now, the heel makes a relative hard (and loud) landing.”

Thats no longer the case.
I have purchased and returned 2 pair recently that were inconsistent in size. One show very much wider than the other making them very uncomfortable to wear. I am now on my 3rd pair and sadly they were the same way.I was going to return them but I decided not to put myself through the frustration again. Just to receive another pair of new poor quality shoes.
What I’m seeing is that the quality of the leather and the craftsmanship has become very inconsistent over time.
I was truly hoping they wouldn’t seek out like so many other companies and leave loyal customers hanging. Shame on you olukai.
Oh well.
Back on the hunt for comfort and quality. Saddens me because I really loved these shoes and this company for many years.
