“I have owned several pairs of Olukai flip flops and they NEVER FAIL to meet my expectations. The fit and feel of the ULELE style flip flops are BEYOND excellent. The quality and comfort is unequaled by any competitor. The old saying : "you get what you pay for" is not only true with Olukai flip- flops but you actually get MORE QUALITY(and styling too) than what you pay for. The sole has perfect thickness, not too slim as many flip flops are, and as you may know, slim / thin soled flip flops result in limited life span. The Ulele provides excellent comfort and bounce and perhaps most importantly - excellent traction when wet, great for the boat, at sea, on the docks, in the locker room, sauna, steam room, pool, beach - anywhere there is water, Ulele is THE BEST. The toe strap / divide is nylon and very comfortable and most importantly it is unlike many flips flops and sandals which require some break-in time - This DOES NOT require any such "getting used to" period of time, WON'T cause any blisters, pain or blood as you might get from breaking in flip flops of lesser quality. Take these out of the box and hit the beach or boat or anywhere you desire. The sole has excellent traction. While some might consider Olukai a bit pricey, again, you pay a little more for excellence, quality and workmanship. I now have several pair of Olukai flip flops and I really could have just stayed with my original pair but I wanted to have an alternate pair to extend the life span for each of mine. The Ulele offers such an excellent variety for colors, I could easily see myself purchasing another pair so that I could have a variety of color - that is IF I could get yet another new pair of these excellent kicks past the discerning eye of my wife :)
Seriously though, the Ulele is an EXCELLENT CHOICE if you are seeking quality and serious life span out of your sandals / flip flops. I highly recommend the Olukai Ulele for anybody interested in quality, fit, comfort and serious life-span.
