“Been wearing them almost every day since purchase. These are not typical flops. The footbed is very comfortable but not cushy/squishy, and it has good arch support. The flops are more stuff than what you may be used to. They feel a little weird at first, but they are very comfortable to wear over long periods of time.
They have excellent traction in wet & dry conditions - both for your foot in the footbed and the flop’s contact with the ground.
My take is you get what you pay for here. They are very expensive but - assuming the hold up for years as I expect they will - quite worth it as a real “shoe” you can wear for all manner of activities.”
“Exactly what I needed. I paddle an Ocean Kayak off the coast of Maine. We are constantly in water PLUS landing on granite, stone and sand beaches, helping others to do so, then dining out on Portland's excellent waterfront eateries. The sandel does all it was said to do, comfy, tough and able to take tons of salt water.”
