“The OluKai products are good. I like them, but their service is non-existent. Tried to find the status of a subsequent order but after more than half a dozen attempts and 6 weeks of trying to contact OluKai for a status update with no response whatsoever, I decided to dispute the charge on my credit card for merchandise never received. No one from OluKai ever responded to an email or a service ticket I started. So beware if you order from them online.”
“I normally buy a pair of OluKai sandals every year or so on vacation. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. I had hoped these shoes would be the same, and they are not. Would not buy again for the high price.”
“I love these for work. I am a Superintendent on large commercial projects and most of the time I am either in the office or walking throughout the site. The qualification to wear as a work boot is “over the ankle”. These meet that and are light and comfortable.”
“A couple years ago, I purchased a pair of boots from Olukai. I wore them daily until the screws in the heel came out. The uppers are still in great condition and I think I'll take them to a local cobbler and have him put a new sole on them. Replacing them with an Olukai boot is NOT an option anymore.
I bought the Kalia Puki just recently to replace my old Olukai boots, and I couldn't be more disappointed. Basically, these are boots are a Local Slipper you buy at Foodland with a leather upper. They are cheap. They are light and they are NOT good quality. The soles are literally nonexistent. Picture cheap flip-flop soles with some leather sewn around as an upper. Night slippers - certainly not boots.
I returned them and won't be shopping Olukai any more. They obviously chose cheap over quality.”
