“I have retired a pair of Moloa slippers, and these are definitely every bit as good. I love the slightly different sole design, but the excellent insole is the same. Year round comfort, you won't be disappointed. Also, shout out to first class Olukai customer service!”
“As the title would suggest, I expected to immediately love these slippers like I do the Moloa slippers I intended to replace with these. Where these fall for me is the build quality between the two slippers. The right slipper fits comfortably as expected, the wool is nice and soft and the build quality is what you would expect from OluKai. The left slipper looks sufficiently identical on the outside - with the mild differences you would expect from something handmade - but the wool liner appears to be completely different than the other slipper. While the right appears to be at least Merino grade and very soft, the left almost seems to have something closer to Enterfino. It is a totally different feel and you can even tell visibly that the wool is different. The other issue this causes is that the more dense and rigid wool makes the left slipper almost uncomfortably tight. I'm hoping the fitment will be corrected by break-in. I've been very happy with many pairs of OluKai sandals, shoes and slippers in the past over the course of many years. This certainly doesn't turn me away, just surprising based off previous experience with the brand.”
