“Bought the Mahana to replace a Sorel slip on that I had been wearing loyally (had replaced them twice) for years. Sorel stopped producing the model I liked and the Mahana showed up in my Instagram feed just in time for slipper season.
The Mahana produces the right amount of warmth and comfort without becoming an Amazonian foot sauna in front of the fireplace. The upper is sturdy yet forgiving, and holds the foot solidly without using the heel cup. The sole has the right amount of traction for a dash to the garbage cans in the middle of a Minnesota snow storm without excessive weight.
I'm 6 weeks into owning the Mahana and thus far its a home run. My only question is how will they hold up... Olukai has made the best sandals for years, yet they never seem to last more than 18 months.”
