“Just bought these and they are great. I’ve had my eye on the Tuahine for a while now but was waiting to pick some up at a surf shop on our beach trip. My wife has had some for a few years now (not sure of which style) and wears them and does a lot of walking in them and her pair is showing minimal wear inside and outsoles both look good as new. I’ve managed close to ten miles of steady walking in the short time I’ve had mine and they feel great on my feet, no hot spots or blisters, nice support and the leather footbed feels really nice to walk on. I typically wear between 9-10 size in sneakers but one thing I’ve learned in flip flops is the wear the smallest size you can so you won’t “toe drag” from excess material sticking out so I bought the size 9 and they fit perfectly. After 10 miles they still look brand new; no discoloration to the superb toffee baseball glove color and the fact that they are waterproof material is impressive considering the quality leather look these things have. I am pretty particular about footwear as I have had various foot pains and injuries and these really feel good but in a solid and supportive way; not in a mushy, cushioned way. I feel like wearing these give enough support, but firm enough to let your foot arches naturally do what they are supposed to do naturally without artificial cushioning that will only make your feet weaker in the long term. I know these may seem expensive but for this level of quality and comfort I believe they are totally worth it.”
