“I generally do boat shoes in the summer & have for many years. Things i require in a boat shoe are easy on and off, not irritating my feet while not warring socks & ability to get wet and not smell bad. I ware them in the canoe, around camp & walking dogs.
They are easy on and off & so far don’t smell. After they get wet they dry fairly quickly but they do irritate my feet. They get sand in them quickly and easily. As long they are dry and sand free they work quite well. As for durability the jury is still out
I’m a size 14 wide and size wise they are spot on. I hope for more WIDER shoes from this company as if I see runs narrow I’m out.”
“Easy on/off. Extremely light and comfortable. I've worn them twice and received multiple compliments on the Moke Pae. I buy shoes for functional/weather purposes, but hearing my shoes are "really sweet" is fine too.
*if you're in-between sizing, size up. I usually wear a 13, but the size 14 is perfect.”
“I love my Moku Pae - in fact this is my 3rd pair of them, and my 2nd of the Island Salt color - for our Winter home, as I don’t want to forget them. These shoes are as multi-dimensional as it can get, as I wear them on a boat, walking 2-3 miles or even to a nice restaurant. When they get dirty, I simply throw them in the wash. Just a great comfortable shoe - that gives me plenty of support.”
“I’m glad I bought these but would make a few modifications if given the chance.
They are darker than they appear in the photos. The toe area is is a bit too chunky and the sides of the ankle area could be a bit more padded making it more comfortable when wearing them barefoot.”
