“Although I own several pairs of OluKai sandals, this pair of Mekila sandals is my first crafted in leather. I noted that many reviewers feel that this Mekila style is sized incorrectly, and that they had to order one size larger for a proper fit. This was not true for me. I believe this leather sandal is designed differently than OluKai’s non-leather models, and cut to fit the foot more closely, i.e., without “overhang” at the toe and heel. Beautiful stitch work makes for a more dressy look, IMHO.”
“The Mekila were a birthday gift for a very tall lady with big feet. We had to order from the mens' style but she was very pleased with the Mekila. She said they were so comfortable that she wished she could wear them to work everyday. I'm thinking more Olukai gifts for her!”
