“Long Term Review. I have owned two pairs of these. The first almost lasted a year, and Olukai exchanged without hassle. My second pair are coming on 3 years old. I have never had a pair of sandals last that long in my entire life. They still look good after this long, amazing. I always have gotten a pretty nasty skin reaction to the foam rubber sandals, so the non-synthetic leather is a blessing. Most comfortable, best fitting slippers/sandals ever!”
“I've had dozens of pairs of Olukai sandals and these are one of my favorites. The oil finish on the leather, the decorative stitching, and the traditional segmented rubber sole are all very attractive and super comfortable to wear. The sizing is the same as it's always been which is helpful; I know it will fit just fine. Highly recommended!”

“I absolutely love these Mekila sandals. They wear so wonderfully and are very attractive sandals! Olukai sandals are by far the most comfortable footwear I’ve ever worn. They last well too. I’ve owned mine for what has to be going on 5 years or so by now. Incredibly, there isn’t much more than minor wear and tear you’d expect especially after close to 5 year’s of HARD wearing- I’ve seriously neglected any maintenance on my sandals but all they really need is a good cleaning, some leather treatment and a resole with new tread (if possible?)! These sandals still have probably another 5 years left and more in them if I took better care of them.
This sandal was my third purchase from Olukai and I’m about to purchase my 4th and maybe a 5th today. I have purchased one pair of Olukai’s shoes for my wedding, and while I can not recommend their “shoes” based upon my experience, I will always purchase their sandals- they are the best I’ve ever worn on my feet...but then again, sandals is ALL I ever wear anyway, lol.
