“Very nice looking sandals with a higher arch. Took me about 3 days of wearing to get used to the arch and feel (sore back lower calf the next day)- briefly thought I might have to return but persevered and now find them the most comfortable and supportive sandals I own. Needed to go one size up for a nice all around fit as my normal size had my feet right at the sandal edges.
I originally ordered the Mekila but they had the braided leather toe strap which I found too thick and rubbed hard in between my toes and found very uncomfortable. The fabric toe strap on the Ilikai is much more flexible and comfortable between the toes.”
