“The slipper overall is comfy, great for walking around the house in, however, the sizing is terrible. I started with a 10, which was just a tad too short at the heel. Exchanged for an 11 that is now too long, there is a big difference between the 10 and 11 which seems like a defective difference. My sandals are all size 11 which works for me but in a "normal" shoe I wear a 9.5. I suggest anyone to order their size and size up together and return the one that doesn't work instead of the exchange hastle.”
“First note: I wear a 44 EU / 10.5 US. Ordered 10 and it was perfect. Need to break in for 15-20 min before complaining about the size being too small.
I had a love/pain relationship with these slippers. I did end up returning these for the Kīpuka Hulu (best thing I've ever had on my feet). These may be great for you but let me explain what I didn't like and what I did like. First, they are VERY supportive and when standing in them, they feel great. They fit great on my feet and at first I thought they were a bit tight, after 15 min of walking around, they fit great. Do NOT judge any of the slippers by how they feel when you first put them on. I have 3 pairs (only 2 now since I returned these) and all 3 took a 15-20 min break in period.
Pros: They are supportive, they are warm but didn't make my feet sweat and they didn't slip off my feet like some others have complained.
Cons: This was the reason I had to return them, they are so supportive and tall, that if you step wrong, your foot rolls and you hurt your ankle. I have injuries from my time in the military and so this is a big problem for me. They are exactly like the sandals (Ulele) which I have and I can't wear anymore because of the same issue. I rolled my foot 3 times wearing these in 24 hours so I had to exchange them.
I work from home and wear my Olukai slippers all day. I used to wear my sandals all day but I cannot recommend the slippers enough. Next winter, if there's a sale, I will for sure be ordering other styles but will need to get something like Mahana or Moloā Hulu. While I love the arch support, the issue of rolling my ankle has been an issue.”
