“You ever hit a ball 300+ yards right down the middle of a fairway? Slowly walking to it, head held high because you know EXACTLY where it landed? ....Neither have I, but let me tell you how comfortable my feet were while walking through the woods trying to find that bright white ball that, somehow, turns invisible when in contact with foliage other than the fairway green. I'll tell you this, I did have my head high when coming into contact with other golfers in those shared woods, their golf game is just as bad as mine but when we walk past each other and they have on 200+ dollar nike golf shoes but they compliment MY Olukai's and role their ankle because they don't have anywhere near as much support in their shoes, well, picture a giraffe standing over a gazelle, that's how high my head was. When I decide to forgo the drop and play my ball that's sitting in the water right on the edge and that BIG swing kicks the water higher than the ball goes and my shirt and pants are covered in that marshy still water seeping through my fabric and covering my skin, stepping out to the laughter of my golf buddies.. I smiled because even though I now smell funny, and am quite cold and wet, you know what wasn't? ...My feet! Sure, they were submerged about a quarter of the way in that gross water, but not a drop made its way through. Not to mention the ease of just wiping them with a golf towel and the dirt and water coming right off. Definitely worth the purchase.”
