Can walk 18 in the Wai'alae's no problem. If I was forced to have a gripe, it would be that they're designed to be worn without socks. Not sure anyone would walk 18 in them with no socks on, but to each their own. Also, I feel like the area surrounding the ankle area is a little low, so I feel like grass and stuff always seem to creep into my shoes. These are actually a replacement pair for my original shoes that had some sort of defect with the part of the sole that has the "traction" on it. It started to separate on the outer edge. Olukai Customer Service was AMAZING and replaced my shoes in an instant.”
“I love these new golf shoes. Very comfortable and nice looking. The only reason why I didn't rate them 5 stars is because of the laces . . . they are too long for golf shoes! I don't like the idea of using scissors to shorten them and I'm worried I can't match the color if I try to buy new laces. If you happen to have some that are about 6" shorter, please send me a pair. The fact that they’re spike less is awesome because they don’t restrict your swing, but really grab the ground at the same time. I ordered true to size and they fit perfectly.”
“The most comfortable golf shoes I've worn yet. I can confirm as others have mentioned, there is a squeak to the shoes - hoping it will go away as I wear them more. Per Olukai's Customer Service, I did go a size up to accommodate for socks. I'd like to add that the Customer Service at Olukai is amazing. Answered all of my questions very quickly.”
“Shoes seemed great and liked good but we’re just to right from a narrow standpoint. They hurt to walk around in which is unlike any Olukai shoe I’ve ever worn. I wanted these to be good but sadly they just weren’t the right fit for me.”
