“I am a 7.5 medium in almost every shoe out there. Decided to size up to an 8. They fit way too loose when worn without socks. My feet would slip out of them whenever I tried to walk quickly. Even with socks, they were looser than I'd like and they haven't even been broken in yet. I exchanged for a size 7 and they fit perfectly without socks. So, if you are planning to wear these w/o socks AND you are medium width, I would recommend sizing down. I would only size up if your feet are very wide or you have a very high instep or plan to wear them with very thick socks. As far as looks, they look fantastic. As far as comfort, ...meh. The insoles are contoured with an arch, which is good. I just wish they had more cushion underneath my feet. They feel just fine if you're lounging around (sitting on the couch), but they become somewhat uncomfortable if you're standing around on hard floors for any more than half an hour. They just need more cushion.”
