“Short version: I am happy, even at this price point.
Durable sole that can be worn outside and easily wipes clean.
The insole is removable, nicely lined, has a slight arch, and is a nice firmness.
I usually wear it with the heal up as a loafer, but occasionally it is convenient to step on the heal and wear it as slide, works well either way.
I wear a 10 1/2 and I definately needed a size 11.
I have wide feet. The fabric has some give, certainly more than stiff leather, but I would be a bit leery of ordering your exact size if you wear 4D shoes.
If they hit all your other checkboxs you might consider ordering 2 pair, one your size, one a size larger.
My one niggle is that they don't seem to breath quite as well as I would have wished. I have sweaty feet and I was hoping the fabric uppers would breath enough, and the wool in the fabric would absorb enough to keep things dry.
For me, on this issue, they are merely okay.
I've only had them for a month or so, so I can't speak to the overall durability.
I am not a shoemaker but the construction seems good all around.
Hope this is useful.”
“I have more OluKai in my closet than any other shoe. Usually by new slippers every year so thought I would give these a try. They are fine but not for me, should have stuck with the shearling lines ones (which i proceeded to purchase last week! LOL)”
“Loved 100% of all Olukai flip flops I’ve owned (maybe 8 pairs).
Got the slippers, great weight, fantastic support. Problem is the tags on the inside. They are a large welded on rubber tag that runs the top of your feet. Makes the entire inside top piece feel like it’s made of rubber. If you wear socks, probably not a big deal. I prefer to wear mine barefoot and it ruins how great this slipper could be. Mine are sadly going back.”
“in previous years, i used german house slippers, which i thought were top notch until they started to break apart. (i'm not a heavy dude!) having already owned 2 pairs of HLA beach sandals, i was ecstatic that the fit, comfort and quality were also inherent in the slippers! the insole provides standard arch support, and its wool blend lining doesn't cause my feet to sweat. love the gum rubber outsole (so quiet)! the only drawback is the Drop-in Heel feature...it's not comfortable at all with a bulky piece of fabric folded underneath one's heel, so i wish these came in a slide-in-only version. still, even when these are in the "shoe" form, i'm able to slide my foot into them with a little wiggling (with and without socks). i can't wait for my next pair.. mahalo!”
“Nice shoe, but the color was not as shown. The shoes I received were gray not a brown tone as shown when ordering. Having to return them, I‘m disappointed because I really like the shoes just not the color”
