Between Amazon and the official Olukai web site, I now have 7 pairs of Olukai shoes all sitting in a Special Place in my Closet. I am a Retired Flight Attendant who was really blessed and lucky to go to the Hawaiian Island Multiple times on my Flight Trips. There is a Peace and a Tranquality that cannot be explained there, and of course, those Beautiful Rainbows. These Shoes are so comfortable; they are enginereed just right on Your Feet ! Each time that I choose what pair of Olukai shoes that I am going to wear, it puts ME back to my favorite place in Lahaina on Kanapaali Beach. Thank You Olukai for being My Friend, and for giving Me the Hawaiian Experience.. Mahalo (Thank You) to All, John Sutton.

After experiencing a harrowing open ocean rescue while stand up paddle boarding in Maui I noticed these shoes on the Lifeguards Jet Ski... inquired and bam purchased a pair , especially after finding out a portion of the sale is given to the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association. I now wear these everyday.... They are my new training shoe ...

I have never worn any of the shoes by OluKai but I wear the 'Eleu trainers everyday that I work on our flower farm in Waimea. they are comfortable, durable and still have good grip on mud and wet grass over a year later. they are great!!!

I bought these for a 6-week trip to Thailand during rainy season in a quasi-urban environment. I did a few hikes in them, but mostly walking around and working in an animal sanctuary where they were always getting wet. Their ability to dry quickly was great and I love the look and the pretty flat footbed. I used my own orthotics instead of the OEM insole and had no problem with comfort.\nSo far, so good!\nAbout 2 days before my trip ended, both of the top shoelace eyelets failed.\nI just took them to where I bought them and was told that this was normal wear and tear and they're not meant for constant use. \nI would have been happier if the sole had worn out before the eyelets, but at least they lasted as long as I needed them.

Bought a pair while in Kauai to use for a kayaking/hike. Loved the shoes, worked well with both occasions. The hike was quite muddy, shoes cleaned nicely. Downside, blister to achilles area, typical for my feet though.

I bought the black/black 'Eleu Trainer from Island Sole in Maui on a recent trip. I used them to walk and swim at Twin Falls. I had no issues going in and out of the water and it helped me climbing the side of the falls so I can jump in. I had no issue swimming in them also. \n\nAlso, I wore it through the bamboo forrest going through the river and rocks. It handled the muddy, wet, and dry terrain like a champ. \n\nAs far as size goes, if you go too big, it can cause some chaffing on the back of your heals. I went with my true size of 11.5 and it works out great when I’m going sockless. With socks on, it may be a little snug. \n\nI was really impressed with this shoe and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a shoe that you can hike and swim in.

I just got my Charcoal/Trench Blue colored pair and they are much darker than the website picture would indicate. I was disappointed with the color until I walked out into the sunlight where the trench blue becomes reflective and more like the color depicted. At that point, I became cool with the color which surprised me initially. Very lightweight and the support feels good. They are very comfortable as others have indicated. The fit is true to size for me and I expect I will be very happy with these. Aloha!
