“I bought these for 4of July and was really disappointed. The straps seemed stretched out and really loose. I kept slipping in them. I have other pairs but I guess I always tried them on first .
Bought these online.”
“Sizing: My Olu'Kai sneakers are an 8-8.5, and the 9 in the Ho'ōpio worked best for me (my heel was almost hanging off the 8, and the strap was snug). I typically wear a size 8, and I have a flat average width foot with a narrow heel.
Appearance: As pictured, these sandals are cute, and the gold strap matches everything while giving a little shimmer.
Comfort: I immediately loved the soles and the arch support. The arch is cushy and supportive, and the slight heel cup holds your foot nicely. The outsole traction is good, and the insole traction is great, even when wet. The strap is comfortable, however, the soles are surprisingly heavy, so the thin strap digs into my foot after walking a while given that weight. I noticed after wearing them for about a week, my feet either got used to it, or I broke them in, and I didn't notice this as much.
Overall: Love and would recommend. I'm considering buying another pair, as well as maybe a pair of the Ohana with a thicker strap, because I see these becoming a summer and travel staple.”
“I love these shoes! Although I didn't see realize when I ordered that Olu Kai has 3 levels of arch support these are the medium level. These shoes have helped me tremendously! I had my feet tested at a running store and they said You're not pronating you just need arch support! Prior to buying these shoes my feet issue was going up my legs and causing such spasms at night that sometimes I couldn't move. Since wearing these shoes that has not been an issue! ❤️ Olu Kai !”
