“These are super comfortable and supportive, but the back straps definitely stretch out pretty easily. I have them on the smallest setting and they still slide down sometimes. I’ve never had the shoes actually come off, but sometimes I end up stepping on the back of the back strap which is kind of annoying.”
“Just purchased my second pair. I have brown ones going on three years now and the leather and integrity of the sandal is still going strong. I decided to get a second pair in black as a backup pair. They have travelled on many adventures and I hope to continue this trend with either pair of my "awe'awe sandals!”
“I wanted to love this sandal, as it took me a really long time to pick out. Positives first, the customer service I received in dealing with the issue was EXCELLENT. They sent me a new pair when I explained what was going on. I ordered a size 10 and everything fit perfectly for about two days and then the straps go excessively stretched, to the point where I couldn't even wear them. I contacted customer service and they sent me a 9. The footbed also just fits on the 9. However, the back strap is really starting to stretch again, and I've had it on the smallest hole, which is still pretty loose on my heel. So the back strap constantly flops off the heel. Really frustrating and not very comfortable.
The rest of the shoe is wonderful, the footbed is really comfy, could imagine walking around all day if the strap just stayed on. I would give it one star but the customer service was incredible. The product just isn't quite there.”
“These sandals are really comfortable and they look great. My issue with them is the back strap. It will not stop stretching. My husband has added three holes to the straps so I can tighten them up so they don’t fall off when I wear them. And they keep stretching. I believe this is a material issue that OluKai needs to fix. I’m not the only one with this problem. I’ve read numerous reviews on other sites that call out the same problem. But OluKai won’t do anything because they only address manufacturers defects.”

“Was looking for a pair of cute but comfortable sandals for my trip to Portugal and came across these. Absolutely love them! During my trip, I walked for hours all over several cities, up and down hills and my feet felt comfortable the whole time. I did not have to break them in, they are super soft to begin with. I had zero blisters by the end of the trip, which is a first. I use these sandals casually and during the summer, I wear them for my exercise walks around the lake (3 ish miles). I've worn them for a moderate difficulty 1.5 mile hike in NC, have sported them to the beach /submerged them in water several times and they've held up really well! Will repurchase for sure when the current ones get too worn!”
