“Snug comfortable fit. Hard to get on but once they’re on, excellent grip. I’ve run, hiked and swam in them all in one outing. I’m hoping the elastic laces hold up. Elastic in general can get stretched out, dried out and break off. We’ll see how that goes. So far so good. The only improvement I would make is a little more arch support, I have somewhat high arches, I appreciate having support.”
“This is now my 6th pair of Olukais and now my all-time favorite. Form AND function!
Function: I began wearing OluKai when I realized the drop heel allowed me to wear my custom orthodics without a tie shoe!. I don't know why OluKai doesn't make this more obvious to people. Everyone I know who sees me wearing these slipons (who know I must use orthodics) ends up getting a pair. The drop heel holds the orthodic in place! So nice since we live in a warm climate and practice fung shui (where we take off our shoes when entering and leaving a home). Most folks other folks wear sandals where its easy to slip shoes on and off
Function: This trainer is the nicest b/c it has just the right balance of of shock-absorption sole and support without looking like a clunky athletic shoe. Other OluKai shoes are a little hard on my back b/c they lack this sort of cushioning in the sole.
Form: Simply gorgeous stylish, hip, cool, Frankly, if it weren't for the white sole, you could go straight back and forth between workout and work without ever changing your shoes. I do wish Olukai would make a shoe with a darker sole (for women!). It would be so much more versatile than the white soles.
Form: As for size, some folks thought they were a bit narrow. To me they are comfortably snug by design. I like my shoes to fit like a glove...no blisters. I think they are just a bit longer than some of my other Olukai which is great for me. I like a little more room in the toe.”
