“Great fit for no socks..does not rub or cause blisters..I've worn for several months, bought a second pair, I wish Olukai keeps this fit forever..I have a narrow athletic build..almost all other athletic shoes are too wide and need socks.”
“God, I wanted to love this shoe. The mineral blue color is gorgeous. I'm a 6.5, sometimes 7, given that I have a wide foot. I have an older version of the Miki Trainer that is a great fit, but the redesign is super narrow. Tried going up a half size in these but that just made it loose in the heel and the toe bed was still super narrow. Had to return it all. FYI, the Pehuea shoes are on the narrow side, too. I have a Pehuea Palm, which again, is beautiful, but not really for wide feet. I can wear them, but by the end of the day, my feet are feeling scrunched. Please start making wide widths. Love the look and the overall concept of Olukai.”
“after reading the reviews and noting all other reviews on this shoe that it runs a half size larger then it actually states I ordered my wife a size 8.5 because my wife wears a size 9 the length was actually good in the 8.5 the problem is these shoes are so narrow there is no way my wife could even get these on her feet so they run a 1/2 size large but 3 sizes to narrow I ended up calling Olukai and getting a return shipping label and sent them back”
“Should have looked at the reviews first, but since I bought a Trainer pair last year in a size 7, I figured that would work for this shoe as well. Crazy long...am returning and hoping that a 1/2 size smaller will be enough. The shoe is also very narrow, tho, so don't want to go too much smaller. Would love it if you did some of these in wide widths. And for the record, the "mineral blue" is a nice/pretty color, but it ain't blue at all. Very grey with touches of green, but not blue. That was a little disappointing, but since I really want these shoes to work, I'm gonna try the 6.5 and hope for the best. :-)”
“I read the 2 other reviews before ordering and got a 6.5 (as opposed to my usual 7 shoe size in other brands) they are snug and form perfectly to my foot. I have found this pretty true for almost all the olukai shoes (& slippas) I have purchased.
I highly recommend these shoes for running, walking, or if you’re on your feet all day. No wear in time needed. They are comfortable and uniquely stylish.”
“I’m a true 37/6.5 and had to return these for a 6. Seem to be made to wear without socks. Comfortable to walk in straight out of the box, but the toe area does get warm where there isn’t netting—we’ll have to see if that causes issues with blisters, but so far so good.”
“Several years ago i purchased a pair at a local store and was impressed and now every year i purchase a new pair .sometimes it is a financial sacrifice at 65.00 a pair if not on sale but so worth it to me as i would recommend them to anyone without a doubt.”
