“I have been pining over these shoes since I was able to get a free pair of Olukais for being an essential worker. The pair I chose doesn't work out well for working 12+ hours straight as an RN. I wanted to find another pair from Olukai to support them since they supported frontline/essential workers in such an awesome way.
I decided on these shoes, mainly for the grip sole and the waterproof factor.
Definitely check out the fit guide, these are NARROW. I sized up by half a size, and it was still uncomfortable putting them on and I was so bummed. I dont have wide feet- I've never bought wide sizes before, but I sure would have appreciated a wide size in these. Sizing up by half a size gave me a comfortable amount of toe room, but they were so tight around the widest part of my foot. If I would have tried these on in store, I would have immediately put them back and sought out a different style.
Considering they are leather, I decided to wear them around my house for a while to stretch them out. I wore them to work for a half shift and while they were uncomfortable at the widest area of my foot, it wasn't anything horrible to deal with. I've worn them for three full shifts now and I'm still unsure about them. I prefer shoes that are so comfortable I don't think about my feet once. I'm not quite there yet with these shoes, but I hope i will. They are definitely more comfortable now than they were when I first tried them on, but they're not perfect yet. I REALLY want to support Olukai in the hospital, so my fingers are crossed.
The beige color is beautiful, the grip is just right and I love all the little details. Olukai really makes quality products, and that is apparent in this shoes with the loop and brown leather detail on the back. If you have narrow feet, I really don't think you would regret purchasing these!”
“Got these for my birthday. The warm taupe was not pretty in person. And they run small. I am a size 11 and fit other Olukai 11s. My toe was on the bumper with these. Even if I didn't hate the color they were small. The width was true to size.”
