“I had been eyeing these for quite some time. I was looking for a pair of low, waterproof booties for travel and everyday wear that would go with lots of different types of outfits and colors. I read all the reviews about how they were narrow so when my hairdresser finally talked me into taking the plunge on spending $160 for these, I decided to go 1/2 a size up from my running shoe size, just to make sure I had plenty of width. (For reference, I wear a size 7.5-8. In running shoes, I buy 8.5 to give my feet some swelling room. Also, I buy 8.5 for travel shoes because I want room in the toe box so my feet don't feel so confined on long flights. I've never bought a pair of "wide" shoes in my life.) I bought a 9 in these half expecting I would need to exchange them for a smaller size. I did not. They are really long for my feet, but I can't go and smaller without sacrificing width, and these are borderline too narrow as it is. I like the looks of them, and they are waterproof, but for $160, they need to offer "wide" options. I'm keeping them, but I won't be traveling in them, and I won't be buying another pair unless they expand their offerings. This is the reason for the 3-star rating.”
