“I bought these when I got to Hawaii to walk the trails here .. I am not a professional hiker but I love to walk on my days off and usually walk 6 miles on those days .. I wore these for the first time on the lighthouse trail .. I was fine on the way up ..but OMG on the way down!! the left shoe on the top of my left big toe literally on the top, on the knuckle if you will, there was pressure on my foot so painful I could barely walk .. I loosened the lace until it was barely on my foot .. I hobbled almost the entire way down .. when I got to flat ground it stopped putting pressure on my foot but the pain lingered … That toe knuckle is still swollen alittle and tender and it’s been a couple a days now .. I haven’t worn them since .. I will try again when my foot is not tender .. flat ground or going up hill wasn’t bad it’s the coming down hill that is supposed to be the easiest and it was the worst pain … all I can figure out is that there is a seam right there that sits wrong .. this upsets me so bad bc I really wanted these to be my go to for hiking”
“I researched a lot of shoes before I bought these. I live in florida and use them mainly to walk my dog several miles a day in hot humid conditions and often over wet ground. So far I love them. I like the grey bottoms that do not show dirt as much as white. There’s enough support for me and I love being able to just slip them on and wear them with no socks. They took no break in time. Love them!”
