“I didn't think I would like the Ki'ihele as much as I do. They are stylish and very comfortable. That said, I have always worn 8.5 in OluKai shoes (I've purchased over 10 pairs so far) but these are very stiff to get into and especially at the toe. As I've worn them they have softened up slightly and although not uncomfortable, just not like previous OluKai's.
I bought the Ki'ihele's because I was waiting/hoping to see if the Nohea Nubuck would make a return. I absolutely LOVED the Nohea's, So much so that I have purchased 4 pairs over the years, and now they are no longer... The Ki'ihele is an acceptable substitute, but not the soft nubuck and fun colors - sage green and pink (Cedarwood) were my fav's - I loved so much... I still have my cedarwood nubucks and cherishing them since I know they are no longer found anywhere...”
