“I ordered these because I needed something waterproof for travel, and the reviews seemed to reflect that they ran wide which I needed. They were comfortable when I slipped them on-supportive and roomy in the toe. However, the seams around the back heel portion rubbed under my ankle and was quite uncomfortable. I stuck some of those adhesive heel guards along the back, covering the seam, which helped but did not completely eliminate the discomfort. I did have to change shoes midday.
As for how waterproof they are…? VERY! I got stuck in the rain without an umbrella and was scurrying down the street and landed in a rather deep puddle. My foot was submerged but DRY!
I am keeping these because I love everything else about them and am hoping the seam softens up with wear.”
