“I think these sneakers will be great for someone else. It is hard to know exactly how something will fit or work without trying, so I ordered them to try them on. I am not sure if it is just the style of the sneaker, or if sizing down to 8.5 would have improved the fit, but something about it just didn't quite work for me. Part of it is the convertible heel which can be worn up or down. I found that if I tried it down my foot would slide out of the shoe as I walked and then I would step down on the edge with the arch of my foot. Possibly sizing down would have meant a snugger fit which would have changed that, but I am not into the convertible heel aspect, so I won't try the smaller size.
I am exchanging it for a different type of Olukai sneaker, so hopefully will find a good match for my foot! I am still rating this highly because it was excellent quality, just didn't work out for me personally.”
