“Works perfectly in my Maverick 88 (5-shot magazine) using Federal Shorty #4 buck shotshells. Slow or fast rack, holding it horizontal or skewed.....everything functioned 100%.
I keep my shotgun "cruiser ready" (empty chamber, slide unlocked, loaded 1 down from full tube). Turns my downloaded 4 shot magazine to 7 shots. Could hold 8 and still keep it from fully compressing the spring, but I don't want that much pressure on it. 7 is fine.
Need to put a couple hundred shells through without issue before this becomes my permanent home defense setup. But so far, I'm very pleased.”
