My DTX handhelds come with me on every trip now. Whether I’m using them to spot my mates up a 4wd track, or my wife’s using one to guide me into a caravan site - they’re always clear, reliable and simple to use.

The DTX600 is a game-changer when you need reliable comms on the move. It’s super compact, waterproof, and the sound clarity is spot-on. Whether I’m out camping, hiking, or just need a backup in the Troopy, this little beast’s got me covered. It’s tough, small enough to chuck in a bag, and always ready for whatever weather comes your way. If you’re heading off the beaten track and need something you can trust, this one’s it.

This is Mark from Perth 4WD and Camping on YouTube and we have this 5 watt handheld as a back up to our main DTX4200XP. The signal and range you get from such a small radio is impressive. The clip is also strong so it’s easy to clip onto your belt on walks etc. Overall, it’s a neat little unit and easy to use CB radio.

The Oricom 5 watt handheld UHF has made reversing the caravan such a pleasant experience. The fact that they’re water and dust proof are great features, especially on those rainy days!

As a traffic controller I have been using the DTX 600 for about 12 months and find very good to use. I use my radio 5 to 6 days a week and about 10 hours a day and have never had battery issues.
