“The thread broke off when securing the antenna to the bracket. A new one has been shipped without question so happy with that. The power input is just 2 wires with no markings for pos/neg and absolutely nothing in the manual so blew a fuse having to guess. Luckily they supply a spare fuse but overall it's pretty poor design.”

“Easy install, the main unit fitted down inside the console in the Jeep so the only thing visible is the microphone. At first, I thought it would be harder to use as the Uniden had separate buttons for volume and channels but the single jog wheel is flawless and easy to use. With the Uniden, I was always accidentally changing channels or turning the volume down because I would press these buttons when I was holding the mike, this doesn't happen anymore. Love the auto dual aerials, only changes I would like to see it come with a printed A5 handbook for the glovebox like the Uniden and a removable short 3 dbi aerial as I mounted the short one on the roof and the long one on the bullbar for around town. Out bush I'd like to move the long 6.5dbi to the roof as well, so I installed a 600mm extension cable out of the console so I could swap the longer 6.5dbi between the bullbar and second lead on the roof.”
