“Bought it to travel across Australia . Lasted one day before the handset stopped working . Pretty disappointed that it cannot be exchanged at BCF where we purchased it but they have to contact oricom for instructions. Waste of our money and out time”

“Great little unit, good range, clear signal, easy to install, small and compact so fits just about anywhere. The only drawback is the hand piece seems to default to volume when scanning channels and then choosing one but wanting to change manually. A real pain when driving and you find all you’ve done is turn the volume up to max or off when all you want to do is change channels.”

“Great little unit packed with features, only 2 feed back issues I have is a shorter controller speaker microphone cable would be awesome, not everyone needs a long cable, also your microphone/speaker cable wiring use RJ12 sockets, most available pass through cables and sockets for dash installs use RJ45 just a suggestion to standardise across industry using same colour code wiring and std socket eg RJ45. Otherwise a fantastic unit easy to use great signal and clarity.”

“Works great, nice and clear, easy to use. But when I turn the key to start the vehicle the power switches on with accessory and then cuts off for a moment during start. If I don't pause for a moment on accessory and let the unit start up for a few seconds then once the vehicle starts and power is restored the unit wont switch on and will only work again once the vehicle is switched off and power is cut to the unit, It's really weird. Almost like putting power to the unit for just a moment and cutting it off for a second before returning it gets the unit stuck in startup mode. I'll probably fix this by adding a manual power switch to reset the unit so I don't have to turn the car off and on again when I forget. But apart from this weird issue, yeah love it, glad I upgraded to this one.”
