I tried other reverse cameras and by far this is the best one with a really wide angle, string magnet and good connectivity.

Handy device but would have been great if the view was full screen, especially when the phone gets turned to landscape view. Easily connected to the phone and magnetic base Is a game changer

Got the camera for reversing to boat trailer and reversing boat to parking spot. It works well except as it uses wifi it competes with the 4WD dash smart screen using phone wifi and the Patrol dash screen unit wins everytime - hence it doesn't work with the phone wifi in the car - ie useless with phone when the car is running. I got around it by setting up a Samsung Tablet with dedicated wifi to the camera and I put the tablet onto the Patrol dash to reverse. Would be far better if it had connection option with bluetooth rather than just wifi Has been very good to hitch up boat and reverse boat along fence line.

I am a farmer in central west NSW and have had 2 of the Oricom wireless reversing cameras for nearly 2 years. I have used them in some very harsh environments from inside and airseeder bin under pressure monitoring seed levels to loading trucks with grain so I can stay out of the dust and know how full the truck is getting. I use these turning a 2 man job of backing one semi trailer onto another to hookup as a road train into a single man job as farmers we only hook our trailers up as a road train once a year for the grain harvest so it is definitely not something we are very practiced in and I never have to get out of the cab until it is coupled into the ring feeder or turntable. I also use these moving oversized machinery on main roads where rear visibility is minimal due to the size of implement behind the tractor. I have used these to reverse grain trucks up to augers for unloading and even monitoring machinery in use to make sure drive shafts are turning as they should. I will eventually kill one of these as I use them in extreme conditions but will definitely be buying another one when I do. The amount of uses is endless on the farm and they are certainly not just a reversing camera they are a movable, relocatable multi use camera that can cope in severe conditions.

I have a Nissan Patrol and it has smart screen in the dash that connects to phone via wifi - so when this camera for reversing tries to connect to phone they compete and the dash unit wins - hence the camera does not work with phone to car. The solution was to connect the camera to Samsung X-9+ tablet and it's perfect. Should not have to have a separate unit to operate. Instructions to set up the dash screen in any way did not remedy the problem - ideally it just worked in with screen dash but no way. Alternatively it would have been a good unit if it simply could have been connected to the phone with Bluetooth leaving wifi free. The camera works well with tablet for backing up to boat trailer.

Arrived pretty quickly, charged up and ready to go. Paired with the phone and it just worked. I've yet to try out the magnetic part on caravan, but so far so good.

Great in the trailer to keep an eye on livestock day and night. Magnets are super strong and lasts over 6 hours on full charge.
