“Only Ororo Energy Packs can be used due to a Proprietary Connector that's a 4mm Coax Design on the Vest End of the Connection! They don't tell anything about their energy pack being needed until it's presented as an add-on after you've added a vest to the Shopping Cart, and no mention is made that the connector and Energy Pack being Proprietary at all! There is no mention of anything but USB-C on their product page. Ororo Customer Service will not reveal the polarity of the center connector in the connector. There are adapters available from USB-C to the 4mm coax connector, but the voltage to heating elements from the Ororo Energy Packs is also proprietary and non-standard, and using other Energy Packs voids the warranty! The Ororo Customer Service is not helpful, and 5 requests to escalate to a Supervisor resulted in my next calls not being answered at all and no call back to the messages I left. Ororo has a Tag Removal Return Policy that will not allow exchange for size if the zipper tag is removed. I'm afraid to open the sealed Pouch holding the Directions for fear of a Policy regarding opening a sealed pouch. The SIZES RUN SMALL!!! FWIW, I bought an Open Box Vest, and didn't want their "Energy Pack" since I made the mistake of assuming that they would be using standard USB PD Battery Banks, and again all their information only mentions USB-C on the Ororo Amazon Products Pages. Since this is a one star review I'm fully expecting it to be ignored. I'd really like to return it. I only tried it on once for a few seconds and it was very small for me. I have a closet full of Men's Large shirts and jackets that fit just fine! It's never been worn more than for the fit test.”
