(Open-box) Men's Heated Golf Jacket with Zip-off Sleeves (Battery Set Not Included) Black / 3XL Reviews

4.6 Rating 9 Reviews
This jacket is good as currently designed, but it could be better. Here are my suggestions: The sleeves as they are catch the club head at the end of the swing because they are so wide. I suggest making the sleeves 1 inch longer and making them with elastic that will keep them against your wrists. This would do two things, not allow the club head to sneek under the hem of the sleeve and two, on windy/cold days keep the arms warmer. The two exterior pockets can be a problem when you are riding in a golf cart in that things can fall out of your pockets (such as golf balls, tees, ball markers) so put either zippers or velcro at the pockets to reduce this possibility. The main jacket zipper should be a double zipper so you can open the bottom of the zipper for a better fit while riding in a golf cart or if you need to get something from your pants pocket without having to lower the total zipper and loose the heat you have built up. All in all it is a darn good jacket but it could be a great jacket with a few modifications.

I own a vest and golf jacket. I really like them. The golf jacket does not supply as much heat as the vest. I will get another coat next fall. I wish they had talls. I gave my wife a vest and she loved it but it now turns off for no known reason. She gets cold and realizes it is off.

I am a big fan of ororo wear. I have a coat, vest, and bought jackets for family members but was disappointed in this jackets durability. I bought this golf jacket as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He's worn it a couple times and it already has a small hole right in the front of the jacket where the white stuffing is try to seep out. Very disappointing that now he can no longer wear it and money wasted.

My one suggestion is to have a better zipper. It is very difficult in the start of zipping. A better all weather zipper, maybe a bigger, better like the ones on ski clothes. Especially the arms to unzip and get back on.

I like the style and it fits perfect with the sleeves off. A little tight with them on. I'm 5'9 160 and I bought a medium.

I am a slender 6ft 160lb male. Many companies are moving to a "cut" that provides more generous room in the "belly" area (commonly known now as American sized). If you have more of a "beer belly", this cut will accommodate that. If you are more slender, it will feel a little awkward. I still recommend the jacket as it is a thinner jacket than other models and can be placed underneath layers easier if need be. The other advantage is the sleeves can be removed. Last advantage is this does have the neck warmer heating element. FYI, the battery is in the back of the jacket (for golfing advantages). Take that into consideration if you plan on using it for other sports like skiing or snowboarding or maybe you will be using it at work sitting in a chair a lot.

Was skeptical how good this would work on the chilly days for golf. It's perfect, keeps me nice and warm. Sometimes I need a wind breaker over to really keep the heat in, but works great!
