“I bought this for my mother who has several medical conditions that cause her to have poor circulation and, as a result, a hard time maintaining body heat. Living in the Midwest, the colder temperatures have prevented her from staying active by getting outside and walking. Since buying her this jacket for Christmas, she has been wearing it non-stop and feels like she can get back outside comfortably! I really appreciate the thickness of this particular coat as it can easily be layered with larger “insulating” jackets to maintain the heat, or be worn indoors without the hood and appear like a standard zip-up fleece.
