“My husband bought me this jacket Christmas 2024 and I LOVE it! My job requires me to be outside in the cold three times a day and it's been a lifesaver. After over a year of wear, the heating element stopped working. It definitely wasn't the battery; that was functioning properly. I carefully followed the cord inside the hole to the heating element where I discovered a break in the wire. I have never washed the jacket, but somehow the wire had been compromised. We reached out to Ororo and their service was exemplary. Kelsey, in particular, stayed in contact, (in a VERY timely manner at that) and much to our surprise, they sent me a new jacket. I rather figured it would be a shot in the dark to get a new one as, to us, what happened to the jacket was an anomaly. But ororo took excellent care of us and I am now most happily wearing the fully functioning jacket. I live in New England and it was 33 degrees yesterday. To say the jacket has come in clutch would be quite the understatement! Highly recommend the jacket and the company!”
“I love the color and fit of this jacket! The only things I don’t like about it are the battery placement which makes me look like I have a growth on my side because of where the battery pocket hits on me (I’m curvier) and the button being in the pocket. The button in the pocket is difficult because you can’t see the setting without turning your pocket out and also if you carry things like books or a laptop it can get turned on accidentally and heat you up when you are not expecting or wanting it. Other than that this jacket really is lovely.”
Hi Allison, thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We’re happy to hear you love the color and fit of the jacket! We also appreciate your comments about the battery placement and button location. Your input will be shared with our product team for review and improvement. Thanks for your understanding and for choosing ororo.
“This is a very soft and warm hoodie even when it's not turned on. It's very comfortable and looks great. It'll also work well under my winter jacket if it's really cold outside.”
