“I am glad I picked the one with more heating areas, I love the heat on the back of my neck. This is very nice, my husband wants to order a vest or jacket now. My original battery didn't work, I contacted customer service and they sent me another one that works perfectly.”
“I own several Ororo products -- this is also my second vest, which I purchased specifically because of the lower back heat. I wore it up skiing this past weekend and the lower back heat was exceptional. However, I will say the upper back heat felt really low in comparison, while the neck / shoulder area was almost too hot. I agree with another commenter below that perhaps the neck / shoulder heat should be a third button / heat option (even though that sounds like too many buttons), as it was a drastically higher temperature than the upper back heat. I'll test it out further this week to see if there are still inconsistencies in the zones and will reach out to customer service if needed.
As well, I purchased the same size Large as my other vest and also followed the size guide, but do feel this one fits more snug -- it still works, as I order on the larger size to be able to layer underneath, but there is definitely a difference in the large sizes between the two (my other vest is from 2023 and is the original Ororo vest with the red zipper).
I also purchased the upgraded PD7K battery which was outstanding and kept my vest heated on medium for well over 8 hours while skiing. Both the PD7K and the PD5K battery that was included with this vest also charge quickly (and much faster than my prior Ororo batteries).
Fingers crossed there isn't an issue with the heat zones on this vest, as I'm very happy with the addition of the lower back heat.”
